One of Vermont Fine Art Gallery's most recent additions is
Vermont artist, Mark Boedges.  Mark & his wife, Rebecca, 
recently moved to Vermont from Colorado, where Mark studied
art for several years at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Having learned to paint largely 'en plein air' high in the
Rocky Mountains-notorious for their quickly changing weather
conditions- Mark is no longer a stranger to the challenges or
perils of painting on location. Nevertheless,
the spontaneityand freshness of painting en plein air continue
to draw Mark out of the studio and into the field.  

He is an award winning artist and has exhibited in
galleries and shows nationally.Mark has been awarded
the People's Choice Award and a bronze medal Estes,
Colorado Plein Air Show.  He was
also selected among world class artists to participate in the
Easton Plein Air Painting competition hosted in
Maryland.  He is also a member of the
National Academy of Professional Plein Air Painters.
